Green Arrow and Black Canary 2 by Superchica Green Arrow and Black Canary 2 by Superchica
Oct 10th 2007- This day marks the release of Green Arrow/Black Canary #1, the couple's first ever duo titled comic since their first appearances in 1941 (Green Arrow in More Fun Comics #73), and 1947 (Black Canary in Flash Comics #86). The two lovebirds have remained an item since Black Canary's enrollment in the Justice League in Justice League of America #75 in 1969. Needless to say a marriage between the two superheroes was long overdue. Carly Spade and Chasen Grieshop of Particle 9 Productions (P9P) deemed such an event was worthy of honor. Recently while in downtown Orlando, Florida, P9P conducted a photoshoot featuring Carly Spade as Black Canary, and Mike Kalinowski as Green Arrow with photography by Chasen Grieshop. The breathtaking results of said photoshoot have been released on this momentous day for the public's viewing pleasure.

Spec-fuckin'-tacular, even from somebody who can't stand what Smallville is doing to Superman & the DC Universe.

However big a fan you may be, let me just make my one (somewhat valid?) point - at a party, some dude recognized a tattoo I have as being in Kryptonian because "(he) saw it on Smallville."

That makes me frown.

Well as big of a fan of Smallville as I am...I was a fan of comics I frown upon that myself as well HOWEVER if Smallville insights people to buy comics then so be it! :)

Thank you!

For a normal person i say it's a very very good photo. Both the costumes are great.

A super fan would say, there are a few details missing on the arrow ends and the crossbow hasn't got a short bow string to shoot... and some more things about the detail.

But i think the costumes are great^^. The other pictures are also great.

I just have to comment on this one. I hope I can make this sound as un-perverse as possible: Wow. You capture the most quintessential part of Black Canary ever, and far more than I thought could be possible. Dinah's always been the one of the prime examples in graphic novels of women who can be both buff and beautiful, but until now I thought that was a fictional superpower. Here, you fortunately proved me wrong, by having precisely the ripped thighs to play Black Canary. The icing on the cake is you're both a girl who likes graphic novels, and look like the girls in them. Totally awesome.

Wow I am extremely flattered with your comments. Has definately been a desire of mine to provide the persona for a comic character one day and so what you said is definately appreciated. Thank you.
